Because the Academy is a tuition-free school, your support is critical.

Each year, nearly 100% of the Academy’s $3.8 million operating budget comes from philanthropical support. The Academy does not receive any federal, state or local government funding.

Donate

Every donation directly supports students’ education. The Academy Fund provides critical resources to our students and programs. Gifts to the Fund provide annual operating support for all aspects of the Academy including books, athletics, extracurricular programs, clubs and professional development.

Join The Club

President's Circle donors are Individuals, Foundations or Corporations who make an unrestricted leadership gift of $5,000 or more to The Academy Fund. Donors receive an invitation to the Academy's annual Thanksgiving program and other exclusive events with Academy students.

Crimson Knight’s Society donors provide steadfast support through monthly gifts to The Academy Fund. In recognition of their commitment to the Academy, donors receive invitations to Academy events as well as an annual statement of gifts. They will not receive annual solicitations, therefore helping to reduce annual fundraising costs.

After School Tutoring Program

Volunteer

Academy volunteers provide a tremendous amount of support for faculty, staff and students.

Establish a Fund

The Academy's Endowment strengthens the school for generations and provides critical funds that support all facets of the Academy including scholarships, programs such as academics, summer term, Graduate Support, intern teachers, and more. Gifts can be designated to an already established named fund or The 1993 Fund, our general endowment fund. Please contact the Academy for information about creating a named endowed fund.

If you are a Maryland State resident or business, you may be eligible for both a tax deduction AND a Maryland State tax credit for your gift! Credits are distributed on a first come first serve basis.

Leave A Legacy

The Rev. WILLIAM J. Watters, S.J. Legacy Society

Planned or Estate gifts help ensure that our transformational program is available for future generations of boys in Baltimore. Bequests from a will or trust, gifts of life insurance, or naming the Academy as a beneficiary of a retirement plan may help reduce or avoid estate taxes while having a significant impact on our school. Individuals who include the Academy in their estate are recognized as members of the Rev. William J. Watters, S.J. Legacy Society. Unrestricted planned gifts will be directed to The 1993 Fund, the Academy's general endowment fund.
