To summarize, Davon Williams is an incredibly talented and accomplished young man. In 2009, he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. While a student, Davon's talent and passion for the performing arts led him to be recruited by the Americorps program, EducationWorks, where he helped launch their performing arts summer camp, developing a curriculum that inspires young aspiring artists to this day.

A Baltimore native, Davon attended Loyola Blakefield, graduating in 2005. As his own website states, “Davon experienced the extremes of gang violence and poverty, while receiving a top-notch education from the best private schools in the area.”  That educational journey began at St. Ignatius Loyola Academy where Davon was offered many opportunities including an introduction to the theater at Center Stage which was right next door to the Academy’s original location on North Calvert Street.

Davon returned to the Academy last year as the Class of 2024’s Graduation Speaker. Not only did he thrill the audience, but he connected with students and graduates, reminding them that the journey can be a difficult one but that the Academy will always be here to support you.

Davon currently lives in New York where he continues working on stage and behind the scene while he finishes his Master’s in Fine Arts at Yale University.
